About Andrea Reinecke

Andrea Reinecke is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and financial services. During her career she has developed strategies for market-leading business with a forte for building brands, and has held various non-executive directorships including for Bravo Brands, South Africa’s largest furniture and mattress manufacturer (the manufacturer of Sealy Posturepedic) and Kwikspace, a leading modular building manufacturer.

Her experience includes FMCG, waste management, manufacturing and services industries. She has also led material M&A transactions, and has traveled extensively raising funds from International investment institutions for a Private Equity Fund. She is a lecturer at the Gordon Institute of Business Science where she teaches corporate strategy, sustainability and innovation.

She holds a Master of Philosophy in Corporate Strategy (cum laude) and a BSc in Financial Mathematics. Andrea is committed to lifelong learning and excellence as evidenced by her certifications which include the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and being a Certified Director (Cert.Dir®). Her professional memberships include the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoD) and the Golden Key International Honour Society
