The Rationale

Environmental factors play a pivotal role in the operations and strategy of any firm. Legislative requirements are not exempt from this law. The determinants of legislation have, over the years, placed many an industry in precarious circumstances that require a complete restructure of the way forward.
 
The Scope

The Strategists were approached by a large real estate organisation to aid in the development of their inclusive BBB-EE approach toward supply chain management based on legislative requirements and the overall shift to inclusivity across the country.
BBB-EE is a nationwide requirement that if not catered to correctly, has the capacity to limit the capabilities of any firm indefinitely.
In order to develop success within their respective industry as well as in relevance to their own business, there was a need to create an effective supply chain strategy that co-operated with the legislative requirements of BBB-EE.

The approach from our side was to conduct in-depth and extensive research into the industry by looking at the following aspects:

• Current trends
• The competitive landscape
• Who the major, upcoming competitors are 

Through the research and understanding gained through this, an end-to-end strategy was created. The aim was to bridge the gap and understand how best we could leverage the evolving supply chain to meet the needs of the firm while still maintaining a grasp on the requirements of BBB-EE.

Our goal was to better suit the needs of the company in a manner that allowed careful and intricate coping with the current and future landscape of the existing supply chain.
 
Closing Thoughts

Inclusivity is crucial.

Outside of reparations for the history of our country, inclusivity maintains permanent effects on an organisation. A multicultural and diverse organisation creates a wellspring of insights, knowledge, and diverse approaches toward problem-solving and the overall well-being of the firm itself.

The case here is the perfect example of utilising legislation in a new manner to not only benefit the firm but the employees and strategy moving forward.
